ROLE Reporting to the CFO, the Procurement Manager will manage a team of 2 direct reports and be accountable for the whole groups procurement and purchasing activity.
This role will work with suppliers to source, negotiate and manage the full lifecycle of materials and goods for the whole group. We are looking for a person who has strong ingredients and raw material procurement experience, who understands what total value looks like.
Specifically, you will:
* Develop and execute a sourcing strategies to deliver best value to the business
* Ensure product availability and quality at all times, including international goods
* Build strong supplier relationships, ensuring quality supply is maintained and risk free
* Manage and support the groups ESG reporting requirements
* Build strong internal relationships with all business units to ensure that they are bought in with the change and support this ongoing
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a strong Procurement professional with experience working in fast paced manufacturing settings. We want resilient individuals who thrive in dynamic environments. This role will offer the right person an opportunity to own a function and drive it.
* 5+ years experience in Procurement roles within FMCG or Food Manufacturing
* Experience in forecasting, price negotiations, procuring and sourcing goods, preferably in FMCG and/or Manufacturing, ideally within fast paced environment.
* Experience interacting with International Suppliers and Freight Forwarders is highly regarded.
* Proven ability to manage working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
* Prior experience in an ERP system environment will be considered an advantage.
* Strong administration and excel skills.
