Business Partner Position Overview
The role of a Business Partner is crucial in supporting managers within the Operations Directorate. The successful candidate will work closely with designated managers to provide objective and accurate financial advice, influencing financial outcomes and creating opportunities for improvement.
* Partnering with designated managers by providing timely and accurate financial information to support strategic and operational decision making;
* Responsibility for monitoring and interpreting financial results and key performance indicators to assist management with operations;
* Monitoring and analysing financial and activity performance against targets;
* Assisting in the development of annual operating budgets and financial modelling for new initiatives;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess a business-related degree from a tertiary education institution and preferably be CPA or CA ANZ qualified. You will also have strong analytical, conceptual and logical problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong business partnering and financial accounting experience;
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to form collaborative business relationships;
* Ability to undertake complex tasks under limited guidance and ensure completion within strict timelines;
* High level computer skills with advanced Excel skills.
