Discover life‐gifting possibilities
Lifeblood is more than just a job or a career; it's an opportunity to be part of something that matters. As an organisation, our purpose is simple: life‐giving donations, for life‐changing outcomes.
About the role
Lifeblood is looking for a Systems & Change Specialist to help our Manufacturing & Logistics (M&L) leadership team strengthen the way we work. In this role, you'll build systems thinking into our processes and operations across the country, helping us create simpler, more consistent, and more efficient ways of working.
You'll take a human‐centred approach to process design, supporting teams to plan and deliver change that makes a real difference. Working closely with stakeholders across M&L, you'll help turn ideas into practical solutions that improve service and drive lasting improvement.
Your expertise in mapping and improving operational processes will help create a consistent national approach. You'll monitor progress and timelines, making sure our work stays on track and aligned with Lifeblood's broader goals.
A key part of this role is shaping the operational design principles that guide how we train and support our people in operational roles. You'll also work with the M&L Integrated Services team to align communication, engagement, and change strategies across key programs.
If you're passionate about helping teams work smarter and creating change that lasts, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the heart of Lifeblood's operations.
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in leading change and driving system wide performance in an operational environment
* Proven ability to develop effective interpersonal relationships and consult with a range of external and internal stakeholders
* System thinking capability or experience delivering systemic change in operational teams
* Demonstrated experience in achieving results through prioritisation, organisation, decision making and time management
* Computer literacy and demonstrated competence in a variety of computer software packages (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
* Effective communication and presentation skills that are collaborative and adaptable
* Ability to work autonomously
* Demonstrated attention to detail and critical thinking skills
* Experience of working within a highly regulated environment
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality
This is a permanent full‐time opportunity working in our Melbourne Processing Centre + WFH. Lifeblood is proud to accommodate flexible working, and we are open to conversations around what this means to you.
