About The Role
Are you someone who enjoys keeping things organised, working with data, and helping projects run smoothly? We're looking for a Project Officer to join our team and help coordinate traffic surveys that support important planning and infrastructure work.
In this role, you'll be the key point of contact for engaging contractors to carry out traffic surveys. You'll provide advice to ensure surveys are conducted safely, in the right locations, and in accordance with requirements. You'll also work closely with project managers and team members, using various software programs and databases to manage information, maintain records, and ensure compliance with relevant rules and policies.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate new traffic survey requests and manage the procurement process.
2. Manage minor contracts and oversee their progress.
3. Advise on survey quality, safety, and compliance.
4. Organise traffic data inboxes and folders.
5. Update and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
6. Enter traffic data into corporate systems.
7. Generate traffic reports for different audiences.
8. Occasionally visit survey sites with safety gear provided by contractors.
About You
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
2. Strong computer and data management skills.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
4. Organised with good time management skills.
5. Willing to learn new systems and tools.
6. Attention to detail, especially regarding data accuracy.
