Douglas Aerospace is a family-owned aircraft refurbishment business based in Wagga Wagga NSW. We specialise in aircraft surface refinishing and painting for corporate, government, defence and private clients.
Labourers will be responsible for assisting Spray Painter’s with day-to-day activities associated with spray painting and housekeeping activities.
Temporary (uni holiday) and permanent contracts available.
**Tasks and Responsibilities**
Under the guidance of the Spray Painter, you will:
- Carry out surface preparation including paint stripping, sanding, masking, paint preparation and equipment clean-up.
- Assist in the completion of work packs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Carry out other duties as directed
**Personal Competencies**
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
- Demonstrated adherence to all work rules and regulations.
- Physical ability to undertake duties including lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Driver’s licence and reliable transportation required due to location
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated
- Committed to working safely
- Able to communicate respectfully and effectively with colleagues, administrative staff and managers
Pay: $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Licence/Certification:
- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
