This role involves supporting clients through the full lending lifecycle, ensuring their needs are handled with care and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Client Meetings: Attend client meetings and document finance discussions and client objectives in collaboration with directors/consultants.
* Liaison: Liaise with clients and bankers to facilitate smooth finance approval processes.
* Research and Verification: Research and verify income and expenses in accordance with Responsible Lending Obligations.
* Preliminary Assessments: Complete Preliminary Assessments and comparative cash flow analyses.
* Compliance Documentation: Prepare and provide compliance documentation, including Credit Guides.
* Drafting Letters: Draft income-related letters and forms, including discharge authorities and valuations.
* Data Tracking: Use Excel to track loan timelines and key data (e.g., fixed rate periods, review dates).
* Client Loan Maintenance: Provide ongoing client loan maintenance, including rebalances and account updates.
Requirements
* Experience: 3+ years in a mortgage support or broking role with a strong grasp of lending processes, compliance requirements, and the client journey.
* Certification: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is highly regarded.
* Skills: Attention to detail and excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and CRM systems, with bonus points for Xeppo expertise.
