The Toowoomba Integrated Mental Health Hub is an innovative new model of integrated stepped care, transforming the way mental health and wellbeing support is delivered across Queensland. Wellways, together with our consortia partners Each, Lumsden Psychology, QPASTT and Goondir will provide seamless, free and voluntary services built on the principles of no wrong door, community inclusion and consumer choice and control.

At Wellways, we believe in hope, connection and the power of small steps. As a Wellbeing Coach, you'll empower people to set and achieve their own wellbeing goals through encouragement, structured conversations and practical tools.
Coaches may come from a range of backgrounds and qualifications including:
* coaching / recovery coach
* social work
* psychology / mental health (e.g. Certificate 4 in Mental Health)
* health education or allied mental health work
About the role
As part of our Psychosocial Support team, you will create a welcoming, safe and inclusive space for participants. Using structured, non-clinical coaching conversations, you will guide individuals to develop strategies that sustain their wellbeing and increase independence. Sessions may be delivered face-to-face, online or over the phone always with warmth, respect and encouragement.
In this role, you will:
* Provide one-to-one wellbeing coaching that empowers participants to take meaningful, achievable steps forward
* Build positive, trust based relationships that foster hope and resilience
* Create opportunities for community connection, partnerships and referral pathways
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, while maintaining flexibility to work autonomously
Some pre-employment requirements
* Cert IV Mental Health or demonstrated equivalent experience in a coaching role
* National Police Check
* Current Working with Children Check - employment
* NDIS Workers Screening check
* Evidence of right to work in Australia
* 100 points of identification
* NDIS Workers Orientation module certificate – free online course
Toowoomba Integrated Mental Health Hub will provide the community with a free, safe and welcoming space to access mental health advice, supports and services.
