UGL Industrials & Resources East are seeking applicants from trade qualified Painters with blasting experience for our maintenance team in the Nanango / Kingaroy region. Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment required.
This role is local, no travel; accommodation available – local applicants strongly encouraged to apply.
About You
To be considered for the role the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Surface Preparation and Finishing)
Cert III in Surface Preparation and Coating Applications
Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Blaster
High Risk Work Licence – WP – preferred but not essential
High Risk Work Licence – LF – preferred but not essential
Confined Space Certification – valid within 3 years - mandatory
Gas Test Atmospheres Certification – valid within 3 years – preferred but not essential
Work at Heights Certification – valid within 3 years - mandatory
Drivers Licence – preferred
Construction Industry Induction (white / blue card) - preferred
High levels of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Great time management skills
The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
