The important parts: Tenure: Ongoing temp to perm opportunity Days & Hours: Mon- Fri 06:30am – 2:30pm OT Weekend work (when needed) Pay rate: $34.75p.h $3p.h (site allowance) What you will be required to do: A Summary of the role Cleaning of tanks and other areas on the naval ships. Working in teams, conducting gas testing, completing entry permits, and cleaning inside tanks. Access to some of the tanks are small, oval shaped and only approx. 2 feet x 3 feet in size. To be successful in the role you will: Tickets needed & Within 2 years: Confined space rescue Confined space entry and work Working at heights Have working rights in Australia Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role.
