WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR – Maintenance Stores
Hamilton Island is seeking a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and lead operations within our Resort Warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods across the island while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Your Role
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse and freight operations, ensuring all goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. You will lead and support your team, maintain compliance with safety and handling standards, and drive continuous improvement across logistics operations.
Where you'll make an impact
* Coordinate daily operations including receiving, sorting, dispatching, and storage
* Ensure compliance with cold food chain handling and logistics legislation
* Supervise warehouse staff and provide training, guidance, and support
* Oversee accurate documentation and processing of incoming and outgoing goods
* Implement quality control procedures and operational best practices
* Assist with cyclical stocktakes and inventory tracking
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of warehouse, barge terminal, and equipment
* Support freight coordination and barge operations
* Liaise with management, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
* Promote WHS compliance and safe work practices
Qualifications
* Current Driver's Licence (Essential – MR or higher desirable)
* Previous experience in transport, logistics, or warehouse operations (Essential)
* Forklift Licence (Desirable)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
