Physiotherapist (Grade 1/Grade 2) – Full-Time Maternity Leave Relief Position (1.0 FTE) at Healthscope. Northpark Private Hospital and La Trobe Private Hospital have undergone exciting expansions and redevelopment projects across 2024. Work has commenced across both sites to ensure the growing demand for quality health care across Melbourne's Northwest are met.
The Northpark Private Hospital Expansion Project Included
* Expansion of our established Mental Health units by 22 beds, including a 10 bed Older Persons Unit
* Growth of support areas including group spaces, meeting rooms, interview spaces, a gymnasium and patient support areas
The La Trobe Private Hospital Redevelopment Project Included
* Expanded clinical services including Orthopaedics and General Medicine
* 4 new state of the art operating theatres
* New 4 bed high dependency unit
* Premium on-site consulting suites
* New day surgery admission area
* New onsite pharmacy and cafe

Key Responsibilities Include
* Provide high quality, evidence based care to inpatients predominantly mental health, surgical wards including orthopedics and maternity
* Display a patient centered approach in the delivery of Physiotherapy services
* Possess and maintain excellent clinical skills in relation to assessment, treatment and discharge planning
* Participate in service development and quality improvement activities
* Provide supervision to students
To Be Successful In This Role You Should Possess
* A Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
* Current AHPRA registration
* Experience in the delivery of acute physiotherapy services
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Salary
Salary based on your years of relevant experience against the Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope – Victoria – Allied Health Professionals – Enterprise Agreement"
