About The Positions
Outback Spirit Tours is seeking one capable and adventurous couples to join us for the touring season from April through to October, living and working onsite at Pungalina Safari Camp – a unique and remote camp within the Australian Wildlife Conservancy's Pungalina‐Seven Emu Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary protects more than 350 species of mammals, birds, reptiles and frogs across diverse and spectacular landscapes.
Due to accommodation arrangements, applications must be from couples, filling the below positions:

Chef
As our Solo Chef, you'll take ownership of the kitchen and deliver high-quality, hearty meals that exceed guest expectations - even in a remote setting.
* Managing daily kitchen operations independently
* Preparing and presenting high-quality meals for guests and staff
* Ensuring strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas
* Creating memorable dining experiences that enhance each guest's stay
Camp Attendant
The Camp Attendant is a true all-rounder, supporting food and beverage service, housekeeping, and daily camp operations.
* Providing warm, professional food and beverage service
* Supporting the kitchen with preparation, plating, and cleaning as needed
* Maintaining guest accommodation and shared spaces to a high standard
* Assisting with general camp duties and guest engagement
* Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere throughout the camp
What Will Make You Stand Out
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (Chef)
* A positive, team-focused attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to live and work together in a remote environment
* Pride in cleanliness, presentation, and guest service
* Previous experience in remote or lodge style operations
* A passion for nature, conservation, tourism, and guest experience
* Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a remote setting
* Current RSA, Food Safety, and Remote First Aid (including CPR) certificates
* Maintenance or grounds experience (highly regarded)
Remote Living
Pungalina Safari Camp is located in a remote part of Northern Territory. This is a live-on-site role for the duration of the season, with accommodation and meals provided.
