Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding nutrition and education to young children.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, early childhood regulations, policies, procedures, and work guidelines.
- Cook for a large number of children at any one time.
- Conduct weekly stock takes and ordering.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene (including cleaning and washing).
- Maintain a strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and childcare requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required for this role.
- A Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience working as a Cook in a childcare setting is required.
