The Role:
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with payroll and reporting. The ideal candidate will have solid experience using MYOB accounting software and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records using MYOB
Process accounts payable and receivable
Bank reconciliations and month-end reporting
Prepare and lodge BAS and GST reports
Assist with payroll processing and superannuation
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Liaise with external accountants as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in MYOB is essential
Strong understanding of accounting principles
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (preferred)
