About the role Provides specialised neuropsychology services to paediatric rehabilitation inpatients and outpatients, delivering assessment, intervention and consultation to improve outcomes for children with mild–moderate traumatic brain injury, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Key duties of the role Provision of Clinical Neuropsychology services to child and adolescents with mild traumatic brain injury (psycho-education, consultancy, assessment). Undertaking supervised psychological practice, peer review, ongoing professional development and consultation with colleagues as required. Assist in the planning, implementing and review of neuropsychology services. Participate in intra-disciplinary collaboration between clinicians across WCHN and the development of inter-professional partnerships to improve the quality, safety and integration of services. Skills and Experience Appropriate degree (Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and general registration with the PsyBA and an endorsed area of practice in Neuropsychology Experience in clinical neuropsychology assessment and provision of feedback to patients and their families. Able to design, implement and evaluate neuropsychological assessments and interventions. Able to apply specialist clinical neuropsychology skills in assessing and resolving clinical problems. Demonstrated abilities in communication, liaison and teamwork.
