About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our in-house Maintenance Team. Based at our Epping site, you will work across a range of fixed and mobile plant machinery, vehicles, trucks and everything in between.
This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday with a guarantee of 10-hour days!
Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Perform maintenance on mobile and fixed plant as scheduled
-Complete work orders and record mileage/hours after repairs.
-Carry out MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
-File service sheets after each job.
-Notify supervisors when equipment is due for service and perform required servicing.
-Fabricate parts using engineering drawings.
-Follow safety procedures and report damage or losses.
-Assist with mechanical repairs.
-Maintain accurate service records.
-Keep the workshop clean and safe.
About You
-Cert III Engineering / Fabrication (or equivalent)
-5+ years’ experience in a similar role
-Forklift Licence would be Desirable
-Own tools required (specialist tools provided)
-Valid driver’s license
-Willingness to complete pre-employment checks (national police check, medical, etc.)
-Flexibility to work overtime and outside regular hours as needed
