**Help Families Navigate Their Next Chapter with Confidence**
At UnitingSA, we believe that entering aged care should feel like a beginning, not an ending. We're looking for a compassionate and organised **Client Relations Consultant (Aged Care)** to join our team on a **0.9 FTE (part-time)** and become a guiding hand for older people and their families during one of life's most significant decisions.
This is more than a role; it's a chance to be the person who listens when others feel overwhelmed, to simplify the complex, and to ensure every person who reaches out to us experiences dignity, clarity, and genuine care.
**Your Impact Starts Here**
**In this role, you will**:
- Be the primary contact for prospective residents and their families, handling all aged care enquiries with empathy and efficiency.
- Offer personalised advice on residential care options, financial arrangements, and what to expect at every stage of the journey.
- Build trusted relationships with hospital discharge planners, placement officers, and other referral partners to streamline access to care.
- Manage all pre-admission processes and documentation, working closely with our Finance and Clinical teams to meet compliance and care standards.
- Coordinate site tours, explain agreements, and ensure residents and families are well-prepared before admission.
- Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support to ensure a seamless and supported transition into care.
**What Makes This Role Special**
You'll work as part of our dedicated Care Connect team; a small, supportive unit with strong relationships across the broader Aged Care portfolio. You'll have the autonomy to take initiative, the support of experienced colleagues, and the satisfaction of knowing that each day, your work makes a tangible difference to someone's future.
**To be successful in this role, you'll bring**:
- A recognised qualification in Sales, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, with proven ability to engage clients and convert leads into lasting relationships.
- Demonstrated experience working within a client-focused environment, ideally with knowledge of aged care, health services, or a similar sector.
- Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to liaise with internal teams and external referrers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information simply and compassionately.
- A proactive approach, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A current SA Driver's licence and DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential).
- An understanding of the My Aged Care assessment process and aged care legislation is highly desirable.
