The opportunity
Our team at PRC Booragoon require a permanent part-time MedicalReceptionist working Monday- Friday 11:30am- 4:30pm. You'llprovide excellent patient care at our front desk and support theclerical team with arriving patients for their scans andprocedures.
Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor, your day will involve:
* Maintain a high standard of patient care, safety andconfidentiality while following PRC guidelines andprocesses.
* Greet and check in patients upon arrival, for theappropriate visits and schedule follow up clinical appointmentsas required.
* Handle accounts, banking, Medicare batching, and otherbilling activities.
* Assist in the orientation and training of new staffmembers.
* Other admin duties to support the daily workflow andfunction of the front-end team.
What do you need to be considered?
Ideally the preferred candidate will hold at least 2years' experience in a customer service role. You will beable to communication professionally both written and verbally andhave the ability to learn and use software and systems. You willpresent with an approachable manner and display high level ofpatient care.
Along with the following requirements:
* Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
* Full Australian working rights (ensure unrestricted rightsif on a visa).
* Able to provide a National Police Check within 6 months orwilling to obtain.
