About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and skilled FDV Practitioner to provide culturally safe and inclusive counselling for adults and children impacted by family and domestic violence(FDV). This role involves supporting clients impacted by trauma, assessing risk, undertaking safety planning and supporting meaningful changes in their lives, through group and individual work
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional and respectful individual and support group counselling to adults and children
* Conduct risk assessments, develop safety plans, provide case management and support clients in addressing FDV-related concerns
* Deliver culturally sensitive services in line with current best practice standards
* Participate in supervision to support reflective practice and ongoing professional development
* Contribute to service planning, development and evaluation
About You
We are looking for professionals with:
* Tertiary degrees in Counselling, Psychology or Social work
* Current WA Police Force National Police Certificate (to obtain upon required)
* current Working With Children Check
* Experience working with FDV
* Current and comprehensive knowledge of FDV counselling skills and ethical standards
* Ability to work with children and adolescents
