Join Our Team as a Receptionist/Administration Assistant

We’re a busy and friendly accounting firm looking for a full-time Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join us in delivering a great experience for our clients and supporting the smooth running of the office. This is a varied and people-focused role where your contribution will be valued daily.
What the Role Involves
You’ll be the first face our clients see and the person who helps keep our office running efficiently. In this role, you’ll:
Welcome clients and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and looked after
Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and care
Manage appointments and calendars for the team
Handle incoming and outgoing emails, mail, and deliveries
Keep the office clean, tidy and well stocked—including kitchen and shared spaces
Provide administrative support across the business, including:
Updating and maintaining our client database (XPM)
Assisting with ASIC documentation and processing payments
Supporting team meetings—preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating logistics
Liaising with suppliers and running the occasional local errand
Assisting the Head of Operations and our professional team with ad hoc tasks
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is confident, helpful, and highly organised. You’ll likely bring:
A friendly, approachable presence and a knack for putting people at ease
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with basic office systems
Previous experience in reception or administration (bonus if it’s in a professional services setting)
A willingness to get stuck in and help out wherever needed
