Opportunity
Monash University is seeking a Project Officer to join the Australian Registry for the Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation (AuRA-AF) team within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. The Project Officer provides a variety of high-quality research services to support the operations of the Australian Registry for the Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation (AuRA-AF). AuRA-AF is a national clinical quality registry with the purpose to collect and analyse real-world data on atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation procedures to make them safer, more effective, and more consistent across Australia, while also improving access and supporting research.
Responsibilities
* Support the achievement of research outcomes by undertaking a range of research and administrative support tasks including ethics and governance submissions, amendments, and reporting.
* Collect, input, and analyse data and prepare results in accordance with established research objectives, timeframes, and protocols.
* Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to gain Human Research Ethics Committee and Research Governance Office approvals for hospitals participating in the registry Australia wide, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in health sciences, public health, epidemiology, biomedical science, or a related discipline; or substantial relevant skills and work experience.
* Equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
