The Opportunity
We now have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You'll be based at our Concrete Products Head Office in Hulland Ward, Derbyshire—the largest concrete products factory in the UK. If you want to develop new skills in PLCs, robotics, and large-scale machinery, our engineering team can support your growth into a pivotal member of our engineering function. You will play a vital role in maintaining high-volume operations by performing reactive and planned maintenance on varied equipment onsite. You will join a collaborative engineering team that welcomes new ideas and initiatives to improve efficiency and safety.
There are opportunities to lead projects and upgrades around the site. Your typical week will be:
* Week 1: Monday to Friday, 06:15-15:00
* Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 14:45-00:30
Who you are
* Experience in an industrial or engineering environment, from manufacturing, maintenance, or military background
* Electrical certification and confidence working with electrical systems
* Eager to learn about PLCs, robotics, and modern engineering practices
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to get things operational again
* Safety-conscious, detail-focused, and team-oriented
