About the Role: Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking Fixed Plant Boilermakers to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on our FIFO rostered maintenance crews enjoying a variety of 2/2, 8/6 or 2/1 rosters coming up. This is a FIFO role ex. Perth; interstate candidates are encouraged to apply (Must make own way to/from Perth). Key duties: Demonstrated fault-finding, repair and fabrication experience on Fixed Plant Mining equipment Performing maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, screens, pumps, and structural components Welding, cutting, fabrication and structural repairs on fixed plant infrastructure Preventative maintenance & breakdown repairs Shutdown support and plant upgrades Heavy fabrication and installation work within mining environments What makes Mader different? Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Welder (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent) Drivers Licence Construction White Card Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (essential) First Aid & CPR (desirable) Gas Test Atmospheres ticket (essential) Fire/Hot Work ticket (essential) Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry Strong MIG, TIG and Arc welding skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong commitment towards safety and quality Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude - Become a part of the Mader Family!
