Due to their success, they have created an opportunity for an Investment Analyst.
About the role
This is an integral role, responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis and strategic support to the investment & asset management teams, with a focus on evaluating potential acquisitions and supporting the existing portfolio. These acquisitions span core, value-add, and opportunistic investment strategies across Australia and all real estate sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
Investment & Acquisition Analysis
Underwrite, conduct due diligence, and support transaction execution for new acquisitions.
Build and maintain financial models for new transactions.
Assist in negotiations of acquisition terms, development agreements, and term sheets.
Prepare investment committee papers and presentations for stakeholders.
Represent at investor meetings, supplier engagements, and industry events.
Liaise with external advisors and collaborate with regional teams on cross-border opportunities.
Contribute to capital raising and maintain investor relations.
Asset & Portfolio Management Analysis
Develop and maintain cash flow models, reforecasts, and internal property valuations.
Prepare monthly and quarterly property management reports.
Analyse income and expense variances, leasing transactions, and capital expenditure programmes.
Assist with annual budgeting and strategic asset planning.
Maintain reporting tools and analytical templates.
Conduct market research and support the preparation of investment papers and reports.
Research & Analysis
Perform detailed market research and benchmarking of comparable transactions.
Contribute to investor presentations and market reports.
About you
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of real estate leases, property and performance metrics.
Knowledge of capital structuring, investment structures, tax, and performance drivers.
Broad knowledge of real estate sectors and the Australian market.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to quality outcomes.
Strong time management and attention to detail, able to meet deadlines under pressure.
