**The Company**
A full time, temp or temp to permanent opportunity has arisen for an experienced full function Payroll Officer to work with a successful and growing SME Labor Hire business based in the Southeast suburbs. The company continually invests heavily into diversifying it's premium service offering to a number of different industries across Australia. The company plans to double in size over the next 2-3 years.
**The Role**
Join this close-knit Finance team, report directly to the Financial Controller. This integral and visible role would suit someone looking to take ownership of the Payroll function of a business and be the driver of your own destiny! You will get the opportunity to implement processes/procedures and contribute to Payroll efficiencies where possible. The company is transitioning to a new Payroll platform over the coming months. Experience in assisting/implementing new Payroll systems would be ideal, but not essential. There is back up Payroll provided by the Financial Controller if needed. Your primary duties will comprise of;
- End to Payroll
- Weekly Payroll processing (approx.50-100 people)
- Super, TAX calculations
- EBA/Award interpretations
- New starters/terminations
- Implements processes/procedures
- Payroll journals/accruals
- Assist in new system implementation
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by Financial Controller
**About You**
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
- Hard working team player
- Good working knowledge of Payroll systems (ideally ADP, Chris 21, HR3, Sage or Micropay etc)
