We are seeking a highly skilled Software Category Manager to lead our software category and sub-categories. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing the development and execution of software category strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the sourcing of software categories, focusing on long-term direction and strategic goals.
* Oversee the strategic sourcing process end-to-end, collaborating with stakeholders to plan contract negotiations and establish supply arrangements.
* Provide governance, advice, and guidance to internal stakeholders to build procurement category expertise.
* Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and supplier capabilities to inform category strategies and profiles.
* Identify and manage commercial, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and supply chain risks to minimize negative impacts on category objectives.
