Parent Pathways is about parents and carers and their individual needs. With the help of a qualified mentor, parents and carers can receive flexible support to assist with any personal, study or work goals.
A day in the life of our Parent Pathways Team Leader can include, but are not limited to the following:
* Maintain and support an active caseload
* Supervise and support Parents Pathways teams in the area to achieve KPI’s
* Develop and maintain operational relationships with relevant government bodies, community organisations and employers
* Proactively identifying performance or HR issues and escalating them to the Regional Manager in a timely and fair manner, ensuring appropriate action is taken to minimise risk
* Inspire and foster team commitment, spirit, pride, and trust; facilitate cooperation and motivate team members to accomplish group goals
* Develop the capacity of others to perform and contribute by providing coaching/mentoring, feedback, and opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods
* Contribute to the strategy, direction, and future planning of Parent Pathways
* Ensure a high standard of care, support and development is provided to all staff
* Ensure our aspirants are treated with respect, integrity, and professionalism
* Maintain files to an acceptable standard for auditing and review
Knowledge/Skills
* Ability to travel between Parent Pathways sites within region
* Experience Leadership in Community Service, Children, Youth and Families or Employment Services
* Demonstrated ability to work in an outcome-based environment toward high performance results
* Experience dealing with challenging participants and de-escalating situations of conflict
* Experience using CRM and databases, intranets, and sourcing information via internet
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
* Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated ability to develop high quality, individualised customer services

To be considered you must...
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
* Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
* Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
* Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
