Overview
Do you have experience in farm operations, landscaping, or administration and are ready to step into a leadership role? We're seeking a Farm & Landscape Operations Supervisor to join our team. This dynamic role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work across diverse properties. From animal care and landscape maintenance to materials ordering, team coordination, and staff rostering, this position provides a broad and rewarding workload where no two days are the same.
This role is based primarily in Byford, with occasional opportunities to support our operations in the Pilbara. It is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong rural and horticultural experience who enjoys working on the tools while coordinating and supporting a small team. You will work across a diverse range of environments, provide administrative support and perform maintenance on both small and large properties. A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative are essential for success in this role.
What You'll Do
* Lead and support a small team and contractors on-site
* Troubleshoot and maintain irrigation systems
* Operate, service, and maintain plant and machinery
* Care for and maintain gardens and landscapes
* Order materials and provide administrative support
* Maintain a positive team culture aligned with our values
About You
You are an experienced horticultural or rural operations professional who is comfortable balancing leadership & administrative responsibilities with hands-on work. You are organised, adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure.
* Qualification in Horticulture or Landscaping, with experience in agriculture (not essential)
* Current driver's licence (manual) and HR licence
* Previous experience in leadership role (highly desirable)
* Are physically fit and able to complete hands-on tasks
* Possess strong communication skills
* Have a genuine interest in gardens and a willingness to continue learning
* Proficient with IT systems (Microsoft Office applications etc)
