Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical and Structural Maintenance Coordinator to join our Above Water Systems team based in Garden Island. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring the safe and efficient execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain high safety standards and enforce environmental policies.
* Monitor workplace safety and implement corrective measures.
* Oversee project execution, managing client relationships and subcontractors.
* Coordinate trade supervisors and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
* Track project progress, address risks, and report to managers.
* Analyse labour hours and material costs to meet financial targets.
* Ensure compliance with quality and technical standards.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with strong safety leadership skills in complex industrial environments. A qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or relevant trade experience is essential. Previous Superintendent experience is an advantage, as well as experience in costing, technical proposals, and financial processes. Background in shipbuilding, ship repair, heavy engineering, or civil engineering is beneficial.
