Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our StirlingFildes Plus Retail team. The successful candidate will act as the strategic link between pharmaceutical and health retail brands and major pharmacy groups.
This role ensures brand objectives align with the commercial goals of key clients, driving mutual growth and long-term success. It requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain high-value relationships with pharmacy groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key decision-makers across pharmacy banner groups.
* Business Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans, incorporating trade marketing, promotions, and digital initiatives to achieve sales targets.
* Sales & Growth: Negotiate product listings, manage trade investment budgets, drive product uptake, and identify new commercial opportunities.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and field sales teams to ensure seamless execution and customer-focused solutions.
* Product Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for the brand portfolio, providing education, insights, and strategic recommendations to clients.
* Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyse market data, forecast demand, and report on account performance and outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in Key Account Management within Pharmacy, FMCG, or Healthcare.
* Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills.
* Solid understanding of the Australian pharmacy landscape and buying groups.
* Ability to develop business plans, manage budgets (P&L), and interpret commercial data.
