About our role
We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand HD Fitter to join our mining production team. In this role, you'll oversee and coordinate daily maintenance activities, allocate tasks to fitters and contractors, and ensure cost efficiency and timely completion of work, all while actively contributing to hands‐on maintenance tasks. This position is offered on a FIFO basis, ex‐Perth, on a 2:1 roster, working across day and night shifts.
Your focus in this role
* Provide field leadership and technical guidance on safety, work management, troubleshooting, fault finding, and quality assurance.
* Drive the timely execution of daily and weekly maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with work management procedures.
* Monitor team performance and implement strategies to enhance capability and efficiency.
* Supervise contractors to maintain standards and ensure safe, efficient work practices.
* Ensure compliance with work management procedures and complete risk assessments.
* Manage documentation and reporting requirements while maintaining.
What You'll Bring
* Australian recognised Maintenance trade qualification.
* 3 years' experience in a leadership role.
* WA Schedule 26 highly desirable
* Sound understanding of WA mines safety and inspections regulations.
* Experience with CAT, Sandvik, Hitachi and Komatsu
* Experience using ERP Pronto preferred.
* Current WA Driver's Licence
* Ability to pass pre‐employment medical and drug screen and provide a police clearance
