About the Role
A rewarding opportunity to support people living with dementia and their families in a meaningful way. As a Dementia Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering our program, working collaboratively to improve lives and implement best practices.
Responsibilities
* Support families and caregivers to understand how dementia impacts each individual.
* Equip carers and clinicians to prevent and respond to behaviour changes through modelling, coaching, and development of resources.
* Synthesize information through observation and written documentation to provide recommendations that are relationship-centred and informed by evidence-based best practice.
* Develop reports contextualised to individual situations that effect change on the ground and improve quality of life for people living with dementia.
* Undertake assessments to understand the holistic experience of the person and their care network.
* Work in partnership with other organizations to build capability across sectors.
* Contribute to research and projects, and work innovatively to meet the changing needs of the sector.
