About the Role
Woodside Energy is seeking a skilledProcess Engineer to join its Projects Australia team on a 15-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of energy projects, including facility modifications, subsea tie-backs, and decommissioning activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and technically robust solutions across various project phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver process engineering scopes across a varied project portfolio.
* Develop discipline-specific work scopes and delivery schedules.
* Champion HSEQ performance, process safety, and integrity management.
* Participate in HAZOP/LOPA workshops and ensure timely closeout of actions.
* Collaborate across project and asset teams to drive integrated solutions.
* Ensure compliance with Woodside Management System (WMS), Engineering Standards, and Specifications.
* Manage internal and external change processes effectively.
* Provide governance, verification, validation, and assurance for all scope elements.
* Promote consistency and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
* Liaise with Subject Matter Experts and Technical Authorities as required.
* Drive contractor performance to achieve outstanding engineering outcomes.
* Ensure timely task closeout and communicate lessons learned across teams and contractors.
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience.
* Experience in offshore projects and brownfield environments .
* Exposure to supporting discipline-related activities on operating assets is desirable.
* Strong understanding of process safety and integrity management.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
