Drive recovery and clinical excellence as a Mental Health Nurse Consultant, making a real impact on consumer care
Are you an experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse with a passion for leading clinical excellence and driving recovery-focused care? We are seeking a Mental Health Nurse Consultant to provide high-quality, safe mental health services and clinical consultancy supporting the recovery of mental health consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation service settings.
This role demands clinical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to improving consumer outcomes through innovative practices and projects. You will be:
* Delivering expert mental health nursing care with a high degree of autonomy.
* Providing clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing teams.
* Coordinating and leading projects or programs aimed at enhancing service delivery and consumer outcomes.
* Taking accountability for your nursing practice, including decision-making, policy adherence, and professional advice.
Essential Criteria
* Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent).
* At least 3 years of post-registration experience in mental health nursing.
* Proven leadership skills and experience in supervising multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a diverse workload.
