About our Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Frozen Seafood Marketing team at our Mentone head office.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to support and drive the performance of our market-leading brands, including Birds Eye and I&J.
You'll play a key role in contributing to the growth, innovation, and brand equity targets, supporting annual strategic plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute new product launches, category projects, brand communications, and customer initiatives.
What You Will Do
In this role, you'll contribute to the success of our Frozen Seafood portfolio by supporting innovation, strategy, and execution.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support new product innovation projects with cross-functional teams
Support development of the 3-year innovation pipeline
Partner with agencies and internal sales and customer marketing teams to execute in-store and online activations
Contribute to the development and implementation of the communication plan – including ATL creative, media and digital, and TTL activity
Partner with internal insights team to identify new sales opportunities
Analyse market data and report on sales performance to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
Support brand planning and manage brand A&P budgets
About You
You're a motivated marketer with an understanding of the FMCG landscape and a passion for building brands.
Whether you're currently an Assistant Brand Manager or a Marketing Assistant ready for your next big step, you're driven, proactive, and eager to grow your career in brand management.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, confidently managing projects and working cross-functionally to deliver results.
With commercial thinking and a creative mindset, you bring energy, initiative, and a clear focus on making a meaningful impact.
A tertiary qualification in Business/Marketing or equivalent
Understanding of the current FMCG retail environment
Experience in market analysis and managing projects with cross-functional teams
Financial awareness and commercial acumen
Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
