We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Estimator to join our Glazing team in WA. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and seeing their recommendations translate into quality project outcomes.
About the Role
Based in from our Kewdale Glazing Branch, the Technical Sales Estimator plays a key role in assessing, quoting and converting glazing and property service projects. You'll visit customer sites, understand their situation, interpret technical requirements and prepare accurate, costed solutions.
You'll ensure customers are informed, supported and confident in the options provided. Once quotes are approved, you'll either assist in project managing or handover to the operations team the simpler jobs, clear detail information, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to O'Brien's high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site assessments and determine appropriate glazing or property service solutions
* Prepare accurate, timely quotations and cost breakdowns
* Communicate clearly with customers regarding options, timelines and requirements
* Partner with Glaziers, Planners and Project Managers to ensure seamless project handover and completion
* Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional work
* Support safety practices and adhere to O'Brien HSW procedures

Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in estimating within the glazing, building, construction or similar technical field
* Strong communication skills, comfortable working with customers and trades

* Strong problem‐solving skills and technical understanding
* Current and valid driver's licence
* Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
Desirable (but not required)
* Knowledge of AS1288 or glazing standards
