The role of Clinical Team Manager is a high-level clinical position that provides expert leadership and consultancy services to a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians working with older adults with mental illness, disorder, or behavioural symptoms. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and promoting positive outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic clinical direction and guidance to the team to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
* Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
* Support and develop the skills of mental health clinicians in their practice and professional development.
* Critically evaluate complex clinical situations and make sound decisions to inform patient care and team performance.
Requirements
* Postgraduate tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers as a Social Worker.
* Demonstrated expertise in contemporary older persons mental health practice, including high-level clinical and consultancy skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and patients.
