Known for fostering a team-oriented environment, they are committed to upholding high safety and service standards while delivering essential projects to local communities.About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Road Worker to join a dedicated maintenance team based at the Singleton Works Centre. This is a contract role running until 31 December 2025, with potential for extension based on operational requirements. The role is essential to ensuring road infrastructure is maintained to high standards of safety and functionality. You will be working on a 9-day fortnight roster, with standard hours from 6:30am to 3:30pm, and enjoying every second Monday as an RDO. The hourly pay rate ranges from $40.99 to $42.02.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out road repairs and maintenance in accordance with safety and quality standardsOperate small plant and equipment relevant to road maintenancePerform manual handling duties including asphalt work, pothole repairs, and traffic control setupWork collaboratively with team members to deliver scheduled and emergency road worksLoad and unload materials and equipment safelyUndertake site preparation and clean-up tasksComply with all relevant WHS and environmental policies and proceduresComplete required documentation and reporting on works performedAssist with other general civil construction duties as requiredAbout YouPrior experience in road construction, maintenance, or civil worksWhite Card (Construction Induction) is mandatoryCurrent valid driver's licence is essentialMR or HR truck licence highly regarded but not essentialComfortable working in outdoor, physical environmentsSkilled in operating tools, machinery, or small plant (desirable)Sound understanding of workplace safety proceduresTeam player with a proactive and reliable attitudeMust have full working rights in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency or long-term visa holders only)Application ProcessImportant:We prioritise candidates that touch base before any job search.
