Companionship Volunteer Program
Our Companionship Volunteer Program is designed to bring joy and companionship to our senior residents by visiting them with their pets.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to interact with our residents, initiate conversations, and provide emotional support. We are seeking volunteers who have patience, a sense of humor, and the ability to connect with others.
We understand that every pet is unique, so we require that your pet has good manners and a gentle nature. Pets will receive lots of attention, snuggles, and pats while their owners socialize with our residents.
This commitment requires regular visits, at least 6 months, which can be done on weekdays or weekends, mornings, afternoons, or evenings. We provide training for all volunteers, so prior experience is not necessary.
