We are currently recruiting for two positions, both will be given the opportunity to learn, grow and contribute towards the clinical outcomes of our perioperative department:Theatre Set Ups - 60 hours/fortnightDay Surgery - 76 hours/fortnightAs an Assistant in Nursing, your responsibilities will include:Completion of surgical/instrument set ups for theatre listsCleaning and inventory dutiesAssist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care dutiesWork as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parametersEnsure consumable stock is rotated and date checkedAssist clinical team to locate instruments at short noticeRotation of stockMonitoring/recording temperaturesAbout UsPeninsula Private is currently a 70 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 3 operating theatres and 2 procedure rooms, soon to be 4 theatres and a new CSSD department, located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula.
