About the Opportunity
Curtin University is seeking an experienced advisor to join our Employee Wellbeing Team as part of our People & Culture team.
The ideal candidate will have recently championed their Companies' wellbeing strategy and wellbeing initiatives/activities, enjoy presenting to medium and larger forums, and possess excellent relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities include co-creating and leading wellbeing initiatives, assisting in reviewing the existing wellbeing strategy, conducting wellbeing checks, and customer engagement.
* Co-create and lead wellbeing initiatives and activities for the university.
* Assist in reviewing our existing wellbeing strategy, in line with our university's overarching strategic plan.
* Conduct wellbeing checks.
* Engage with customers.
* Manage relationships with employees and leaders and a range of external providers, including Employee Assistance Providers (EAP).
* Collaborate with the HR Business Partnering team, Health & Safety & Injury Management team, and Employee Wellbeing Champion network.
* Support and drive initiatives and events with the Employee Wellbeing Champion network.
* Coordinate case management and return-to-work plans.
* Coordinate accessibility requests/requirements.
* Arrange independent medical examinations as required.
* Coordinate special leave requests.
* Coordinate training for Mental Health First Aid facilitated by an external provider.
* Produce regular reports.
* Present wellbeing initiatives to various stakeholders.
* Coordinate events.
Key Responsibilities:
