We have a position available for an Electronics Technician to be based in the ACT.
This is a key position on the team to support a diverse number of technologies in Defence, Government and Commercial areas.
Our client is seeking candidates with significant experience in modern digital communications systems including one or more of the following: From RADAR, SONAR, Combat Systems to Battlespace Land Communication domains.
The BCS(L) networks include systems and communications assets associated with providing the networks and network services.
The Role
Act as an SME in your trade stream
Act as a POC for internal and external stakeholders
Assist in learning and development, as well as a mentor for internal and external
Identification, development, evaluation and recommendation of Installation, maintenance and repair of RF equipment
Test and repair to the specified requirements
Undertaker reliability assessments
Provide subject matter expert advice
Experience Required
CERT IV in Electronics, or Electrical
Experience in training and development
Experience in maintenance and repair of RF technology
Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve and manage technical issues
Must hold a current NV1 security clearance
