Your Next Role
You will lead and develop a team in daily timber processing and pallet manufacturing, driving safety, quality, and efficiency. You will take ownership of stock management, continuous improvement, and building a positive culture where people can thrive. This role makes a real impact on business growth and customer satisfaction, while offering a clear pathway to step up into a future Production Manager position.

* Lead engaged teams by providing the tools, confidence, and direction to succeed while aligning with Hyne's vision and strategy.
* Manage timber processing and pallet/bin operations, including machinery such as moulders, dockers, bandsaws, and nail guns.
* Maintain a visible floor presence to ensure safe practices, foster a positive culture, and deliver consistent production quality that meets customer expectations.
* Oversee machinery and stock levels to support reliability, efficiency, and supply continuity.
* Drive continuous improvement with a strong focus on workplace safety.
Shepparton
Shepparton is a vibrant regional centre known for its strong agricultural base, particularly in horticulture and dairy. The town offers a blend of urban convenience and rural charm, with a growing population, diverse community, and well-developed infrastructure. Its central location and access to key transport routes make it a vital hub for regional business and logistics across Victoria.
About you
* Proven experience leading teams, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Just-In-Time (JIT) practices (advantageous).
* Demonstrated commitment, reliability, and consistency in previous roles
* Committed to safety and following procedures to protect yourself and others.
* Strong communication and organisational skills to manage workloads and build positive relationships.
* Current forklift licence (essential); HR licence desirable but not essential.
