Senior Operations Manager - Patient Services

The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished and people-focused Senior Operations Manager – Patient Services to lead our extensive state-wide network of more than 250 pathology collection centres, spanning regional and metropolitan Western Australia from Broome to Kalgoorlie, Albany, and the Perth metro area, as well as overseeing our home visit and domiciliary collection teams.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a balance of strategic and hands‑on operational leadership. You will be responsible for driving service excellence across both centre‑based and in‑home services, developing high‑performing leaders, and ensuring every patient interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional care.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide strategic and operational leadership across state-wide pathology collection services.
* Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team that inspires Collectors to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
* Foster an inclusive, values-driven culture where people feel supported, engaged and empowered to perform at their best.
* Ensure all collection centres operate efficiently and consistently deliver high standards of patient care and customer service across six regions.
* Champion seamless, patient-centred service delivery at every touchpoint.
* Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through effective systems, processes, and team empowerment.
* Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service quality, efficiency and patient outcomes.
* Build strong, high-trust relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering and performance management activities.
* Lead compliance with WHS standards, quality frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage administrative responsibilities, including development of technical procedures and oversight of internal and external audits.
* Role model Clinipath's values in all decisions and behaviours.


About You

You are an experienced, visible leader with a passion for service excellence and people development. You bring a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.


You will bring

* Minimum 5 years' proven experience leading remote area managers and large teams in a fast paced service-driven environment.
* Demonstrated experience across the employment life cycle including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.
* Strong operational and administrative capability, including experience writing technical procedures.
* Demonstrated understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, risk management and WHS compliance.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* A hands‑on, empathetic and professional leadership style.
* A genuine passion for outstanding customer and patient service.
* Experience working in the Healthcare or Aged Care sector will be highly regarded.
* Qualifications in Management or Pathology are desirable but not essential.
