About the Role
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering assessments and counselling to individuals who are navigating a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances.
You will conduct thorough assessments to guide these individuals toward their new career path, collaborating closely with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
Your expertise will be essential in identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers and designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that assist injured employees in returning to the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver Assessments & Counselling: Provide expert guidance and support to individuals navigating a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances.
* Conduct Assessments: Develop and implement comprehensive assessment plans to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement.
* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other relevant parties.
* Design RTW Programs: Identify and address RTW barriers, designing and implementing effective programs to assist injured employees in returning to the workforce.

Requirements
* Tertiary Degree: Possess a tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology (completed 5th year – Masters Degree).
* Registration: Be registered with AHPRA, AASW, or ASORC.
* Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
