About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the effective implementation of standards, attitudes, and behaviors within a dynamic team environment.

This role necessitates strong leadership skills, including planning and coordinating daily activities while holding team members accountable for their performance.

A critical aspect of this position is achieving daily key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying process improvements, with active support from other functional leads.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safety Leadership - Ensure all team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
* Team Leadership and Coordination - Lead the team proactively, setting and maintaining work standards and behaviors, and holding team members accountable.
* Operational Performance - Ensure daily and weekly KPIs are updated and reviewed, and review and improve processes and ways of working.
* Load Restraint and Compliance - Verify local and outbound loads meet load restraint standards and Chain of Responsibility expectations.
* Customer Focus - Prioritize customer needs and collaborate with other functions and customer service to resolve delivery issues and customer queries.

Requirements:

* A self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships, and provide exceptional service on behalf of the organization.
* Ability to prioritize workload, achieve results through people, and commit to customer satisfaction.
* Proven problem-solving ability with a solution orientation and lateral thinking.
* Able to work under pressure, autonomously, and without direction.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain excellent relations with management, both internally and externally.
