Looking to move off the tools and transition into a customer‐facing technical role? We are seeking practical, commercially minded people with hands‐on industrial experience who want to leverage their knowledge in a growing business. This is primarily an in‐store role based in Penrith NSW, with approximately 20% local travel requirements.

Preferred Background

• Fitter, fitter‐machinist, workshop, industrial maintenance, machining or technical service experience
• Ideal for technical people looking to transition from hands‐on work into a technical customer support role
• Fresh TAFE graduates and recent Certificate III / IV trade‐qualified candidates in Fitting & Machining, Mechanical trades, Diesel Mechanics and related disciplines are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Comfortably dealing with walk‐in customers and understanding customer requirements
• Guide customers on specifications, tools, welding machines, consumables and accessories
• Knowledge of bearings, power transmission, fasteners, welding products and industrial equipment highly regarded
• Retail, trade counter, technical service or customer‐facing experience preferred
• Robust communication and problem‐solving skills

Role Details

Full‐time role: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. No overtime required. No invoicing responsibilities. Approximately 20% local travel required for customer visits and, when required, staff training activities. Product training will be provided. Company vehicle (car or ute) provided for work‐related local travel. Candidates based in Penrith and nearby suburbs preferred. Applicants must hold full Australian working rights. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
