About the opportunity

The National MRC Lead plays a key role in supporting the National MRC Manager to deliver strong, consistent performance across the MRC function. This position provides cross‐functional leadership to the national MRC team, ensuring day‐to‐day operations run efficiently while aligning with broader business objectives.

You will be responsible for driving process improvements and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency across the function, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, cost control, and profitability in a fast‐paced environment with growing parcel volumes.

Reporting to the National MRC Manager, this role leads a national team overseeing the daily operations of MRC, ensuring high standards of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What you'll deliver with us

Play a key role in shaping the performance and future direction of the MRC function. You'll lead with purpose, driving operational excellence, commercial outcomes, and a strong people‐first culture.

* Lead national MRC operations, driving performance, continuous improvement, and successful delivery of strategic and change initiatives.
* Optimise costs and deliver against financial targets through effective planning, efficiency uplift, and performance programs.
* Champion a customer‐first mindset, building strong cross‐functional partnerships to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and communities.
* Build a high‐performing, safe, and engaged team through strong leadership, coaching, and a clear focus on accountability and development.

About you

You're a confident and capable operational leader who thrives in a fast‐paced environment. You bring a strong commercial mindset, lead through change, and know how to bring people with you to deliver results.

* Proven leadership experience within logistics or operational environments, with a track record of driving change and improving performance.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and manage conflict effectively.
* Decisive and solutions‐focused, able to identify systemic issues and implement practical, sustainable improvements.
* Passionate about people and safety, with a leadership style that builds accountability, capability, and high‐performing teams.
