We're seeking a skilled culinary professional to support our kitchen leadership in creating exceptional dining experiences for residents at a local care community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook nutritious meals tailored to meet resident dietary needs and preferences.
* Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food service.
* Maintain highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and compliance.
* Take on leadership roles within the kitchen, developing supervisory skills.
* Contribute ideas to menus and create a dining experience that brings joy to residents.
Requirements:
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
* Several years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Passion for food and desire to take on more responsibility.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
