Job Description
The role of Senior Mechanical Engineer focuses on mechanical design, application engineering, and technical support of power generation and temperature control solutions across the Asia Pacific region.
* Take technical ownership of design and application engineering for power generation and temperature control projects from concept to FAT/SAT and commissioning.
* Deliver detailed mechanical designs for mining and power generation projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Detailed mechanical designs encompass sizing and specifying mechanical equipment, including engines, generators, fuel systems, chillers, heat exchangers, HVAC equipment, pumps, and ancillary components.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
* CPEng Engineers Australia and/or RPEQ registration is ideal, but strong willingness and eligibility to obtain these within an agreed timeframe is also acceptable.
* Approximately 5 years' experience in power generation and/or temperature control systems, diesel/gas generators, chillers, HVAC, industrial cooling/heating is desired.
